Can Nattome help xx (symptoms)?
1. Acid reflux/acid/inflammation of the stomach
Nattome products are designed to relieve inflammation and discomfort caused by acid reflux/stomach acid (e.g., heartburn, hot chest, etc.). The efficacy of the product is mainly derived from an internationally patented ingredient called Gastro-AD. Gastro-AD is an extract of natto. The study proposes that Gastro-AD has the following benefits:
(1) Temporarily neutralize stomach acid in the body
(2) Helps to reduce inflammation of the esophagus
The product also mainly through these two points to help improve the symptoms of patients, thereby improving the quality of life of patients.
Some typical symptoms of acid reflux include:
1ļøā£ Chest pain, including a burning sensation in the throat or chest (burning heart)
2ļøā£ Sour/bitter taste in the mouth
3ļøā£ difficulty swallowing
4ļøā£ Sometimes asthma, chronic cough, dyspnea
5ļøā£ bloating and hiccups after meals
6ļøā£ Sometimes nausea and loss of appetite
2. Stomach pain
It is recommended to consult a doctor first to diagnose the main causes of stomach pain. If the symptoms are caused by stress, drinking Nattome can help reduce stomach inflammation, but customers mainly need to control their emotions to achieve fundamental relief.
3. Bloating
The causes of gas can be divided into many kinds. Soybeans in the original SF are often called "vented" because they contain high levels of fermentable carbohydrates and produce gas when fermented in the intestines. In the newly upgraded SF and SFG, oat milk powder and soybean protein powder replace the original soybean powder, so the whole contains less fermentable carbon water. Compared with the soybean powder used in the old SF and SFG, it can reduce the probability of bloating.
With the addition of eight new digestive enzymes to the upgraded Nattome SF SFG, these two products can now more directly help with bloating, and the types of gas that are beneficial include
- Excessive stomach acid, acid reflux, stomach inflammation complicated symptoms
- Indigestion
- Nattome's new SF and SFG have added different digestive enzymes to help address indigestion and the feeling of bloating caused by indigestion.
How does the upgraded version of GOLD reduce flatulence more comprehensively?
āļø Double Gastro-AD for more effective relief of bloating caused by stomach acid and inflammation
āļø Use oats with lower fermentative fiber instead of soybeans with higher fermentative fiber to reduce intestinal bloating
āļø Adds digestive enzymes in the stomach to help the feeling of fullness caused by stomach indigestion
āļø Adding digestive enzymes in the intestine is conducive to the subsequent decomposition and absorption of nutrients, reducing bacterial fermentation and exhaust in the intestine
āļø has added probiotics to help eliminate bloating caused by an imbalance in gut flora
4. Indigestion
Nattome RnR does not contain digestive enzymes, so it does not directly help with indigestion. Nattome's new SF and SFG add different digestive enzymes to help address indigestion and the feeling of bloating caused by indigestion.
5. Constipation
Nattome products are rich in fiber. Each pack of Nattome SF and SFG contains 1.7 grams of fiber, which helps to promote gastrointestinal movement and increase the weight of stool. Remember to drink plenty of water while consuming fiber, which can help you have a smoother bowel movement.
6. Regulate blood sugar
Nattome SF and SFG are rich in fiber. Foods high in fiber slow down the rate at which the body digests and absorbs sugars in food, thus helping to moderate blood sugar rises. However, it should be noted that there is still a certain amount of carbohydrate in Nattome, so diabetic patients should still take it in moderation, it is recommended not to exceed one pack a day.
7. Spirillum
Nattome may help relieve complications of helicobacter infection, such as inflammation in the stomach, but it does not treat helicobacter infection or replace antibiotics.
8. Malabsorption
SF and SFG contain soy protein isolate, which is easier to digest and absorb than the original soy protein, and is beneficial for people with poor absorption. In addition to relieving the symptoms associated with acid reflux, the SF and SFG have been upgraded with additional digestive enzymes, thus facilitating digestion and absorption.
Can I drink Nattome if I have xx (disease)?
1. Uric acid/gout
Many reports have shown that purines in plant foods are not associated with uric acid/gout, so people with uric acid/gout can still safely consume soy or other vegetables high in purines: asparagus, cauliflower, spinach, mushrooms, lentils, etc. However, the newly upgraded SF also no longer contains beans.
2. Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
The old version of the SF originally contained soy and inulin, which because of fermentation, exhaust in the intestines, which may increase the feeling of bloating, and are generally recommended to avoid severe IBS patients. But the newly upgraded meal has removed these two ingredients and has fewer fermentative carbohydrates, making it more IBS-friendly. People who are very sensitive to fermentable carbohydrates can also choose RnR, because the content of fermentable carbohydrates is very low, so the chance of flatulence is much lower.
3. Diabetes
If blood sugar is currently stable, yes, but be careful to control the portion size, preferably no more than one pack a day. It is recommended to use alternative methods, such as replacing the main breakfast/breakfast food (bread, oats, rice noodles, etc.) with a Nattome meal, and then watching the blood sugar changes to ensure that the blood sugar level is maintained. If blood sugar is currently unstable, it is still recommended to consult a doctor/dietician to control blood sugar well before considering taking Nattome to prevent the process of blood sugar control from becoming more complicated.
4. Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)
It depends on what stage it is. Some stage patients must strictly control their daily protein intake while others do not. If you have this concern, SF and SFG may not be suitable for you (each contains 5.8g to 7.3g of protein), so consider RnR if you really need it. In general, patients with kidney disease are not recommended to consume any supplement as these would be a burden to the renal. It is recommended that you ask your dietitian or doctor before taking it.
5. Dialysis patient
If you have dialysis, you do not need to restrict protein intake, but need high-protein supplements, so you can take Nattome products. However, SF/SFGold canāt be the only source of protein as each contains 5.8g to 7.3g of protein, it is recommended to ask your doctor/dietician before taking and include it in your diet plan to ensure that you meet your daily protein intake or wonāt exceed your protein requirement.
6. G6PD deficiency
The main deficiency of glucose-hexaphosphate dehydroenzyme (G6PD) in patients. G6PD is an enzyme that protects red blood cells from being destroyed. Therefore, people who lack G6PD need to be careful to avoid some dry drugs or chemicals to avoid causing acute hemolysis. G6PD deficiency patients have to avoid broad beans in their diet, and more sensitive cases may also need to avoid some soy products, red wine, blueberries, etc. Therefore, it is not recommended for safety reasons.
7. Tumor/Cancer
Cancer patients are advised to consult a doctor or hospital dietitian before taking any supplements (a more thorough medical history can make a better assessment). Diet is used as an adjunct to cancer treatment, so Nattome is not a replacement for drugs/chemotherapy as a treatment.
8. Osteoporosis
People suffering from osteoporosis, mostly because of the lack of calcium and vitamin D, need to supplement as much as possible. Nattome SF/SFG contains a certain amount of calcium and vitamin D, which can help to provide some.
9. Proteinuria
Proteinuria is a common marker of kidney damage, hence you are suggested to find out if the condition is benign or not. Benign causes are usually reversible hence you are suggested to only reconsider after you recover from this condition. If kidney disease is confirmed, it depends on the stages. If your doctor requires you to restrict your protein intake, SF and SFG (5.8-7.3g of protein per sachet) may not be suitable for you and RnR (0.4g of protein per sachet) may be more considerable in this case. You are advised to consult your doctor before taking any supplement.
10. Biliary calculus
From a nutritional point of view, the overall package a day is still OK. But it's also important to note that the symptoms of gallstone are similar to those of acid reflux. If the symptoms are caused by gallstones rather than acid reflux, Nattome is less targeted to help relieve them.
11. Laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR) and Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
Laryngeal reflux (LPR) is the flow of stomach fluid back into the throat š Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is the flow of stomach acid back into the esophagus gastro-ad can help neutralize stomach acid and reduce inflammation of the digestive tract, which should also have the potential to help. If symptoms occur frequently and persist for a long time, it is recommended to see a gastrologist for a gastroscopy to determine the severity of acid reflux.
12. Hyperthyroidism
A systematic review in 2019 concluded that soy supplementation has no effect on thyroid hormones (T3, T4) and only modestly raises Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) levels. In the recent upgrade of SF and SFG, soy is removed and replaced with oat. Hence the controversy no longer exists.
13. Leaky Gut
There's no targeted help. Although the product contains a small amount of probiotic products, the overall formula is mainly aimed at relieving symptoms related to acid reflux.
14. Peptic Ulcer
(same as above) Note: Peptic ulcer disease, also referred to as stomach or duodenal ulcers
15. Duodenal Ulcer
The nutritious meal contains fiber and probiotics that can be consumed by people with duodenal ulcers. There are currently no studies on duodenal ulcers, and it is not certain whether there is direct help. Preliminary studies suggest that Gastro-ADĀ® can relieve ulcer symptoms (e.g. stomach pain). This effect is due to the high concentration of protein/metabolites in fermented soy products. In addition, Gastro-ADĀ® inhibits pro-inflammatory cytokines, thereby reducing inflammation.
16. Lower esophageal sphincter (LES) loose
If the LES is loose, it is easy to cause acid reflux. Nattome is specifically designed for patients with acid problems/acid reflux. The main ingredients are to help neutralize stomach acid, reduce the irritation of acid reflux in the stomach, and reduce inflammation in the esophagus.
17. Lactose intolerance
Yes, Nattome is lactose-free, so people who are lactose intolerant can still eat it. Oat milk is made of oat as the main raw material and does not need to add milk or other animal milk ingredients, so this is a pure plant source of "milk", and everyone can rest assured that they do not need to worry about lactose intolerance. People who are lactose intolerant drink milk directly, which is prone to gastrointestinal upset, and drink oat milk, there is no need to worry about such problems.
18. Soybean allergy
Soy allergy is not recommended to drink, to avoid causing immune reactions (such as skin swelling, breathing difficulties, etc.)
Questions about ingredients in Nattome products
1. Where do the main ingredients come from?
Nattome products use natural Danish non-GMO soybeans combined with Japanese fermentation techniques to extract their active ingredient Gastro-AD (fermented soybean extract).
2. Who is not suitable for Nattome products?
Nattome products are suitable for vegetarians, people who are lactose intolerant, and people who are not allergic to beans/soy products.
If you have a specific medical history, you can make an appointment to consult a dietician.
3. Recommended age group?
No specific age group is recommended.
4. Does soy cause cancer?
Many recent studies have already proven that soy intake does not increase cancer risk or stimulate the growth of tumors. This is because the isoflavone compounds in soy do not share the exact same function as human estrogen, although they share certain similarities in structure. Hence, soy isoflavones do not produce hormonal effects on the body.
In the recent upgrade of SF and SFG, soy is removed and replaced with oat. Hence the controversy no longer exists.
5. Where is the bifidobacterium longum extracted from Nattome products? Is it from plants or animals? (Because the customer is vegetarian)
Probiotics do not belong to animals or plants, they are microorganisms and can be taken by vegetarians.
6. Do Nattome products have iodine?
Usually, every food contains a small amount of vitamins and minerals, iodine is a small amount of minerals. It only depends more or less. RNR contains 1.3Āµg per sachet, NEW SF contains 7.4Āµg per sachet, and OLD SF contains <5Āµg ā is very, very little.
7. Non-dairy creamer is not good for health, so why is it included in Nattome?
Non-dairy creamers are generally known to be bad for health as most of them contain trans fat. Trans fat can either exist naturally in food or be produced as a by-product during partial hydrogenation of unsaturated oils. However, the non-dairy creamer used in Nattome does not contain trans fat through confirmation of lab tests as the oil is fully hydrogenated.
Non-dairy creamer is removed in this recent upgrade of SF and SFG, hence the controversy no longer exists.
8. Since the old Stomach Food contains glucose syrup, can people with high blood sugar drink it?
Although not the most recommended source of sugar, as long as the moderate amount of control can still be drunk, the general recommendation is not more than one sachet a day. It is recommended that the first drink can observe the blood sugar after meals, as long as it is stable. Those who want to be relatively low in sugar can choose SFG. The newly upgraded SF and SFG have removed the relevant ingredients, so the controversy no longer exists.
9. Sucralose is an unhealthy sweetener, as it can cause a 50% reduction of good bacteria in our gut and will release toxins. Is this true?
Sucralose is one of the FDA-approved artificial sweeteners. Its safety has been confirmed through hundreds of studies, so it is legally approved to be added to food.
Sucralose was removed in this recent upgrade of SF and SFG, hence the controversy no longer exists.
10. Does the NEW SF have isolated soy protein? Is this soy powder?
isolated soy protein is a protein derived from soybeans. Compared to regular soybean powder, soy protein isolate is more refined and processed, and therefore has a higher biological value, meaning that it is easily absorbed and used by the body.
11. How many % of ginger powder in RNR, because customers will want to go to the toilet after taking it
7.5% of customers who feel like going to defecate after taking it may be more attributed to inulin, which helps to increase bowel frequency and relieve constipation problems. It can also increase the weight of the stool, making the bowel movement more smooth.
12. RnR contains peppermint, which is known to relax the esophageal sphincter, which can be a serious problem for people with acid reflux. Can people with acid reflux consume RNR?
The mint used in RnR is a mint flavoring agent, and the amount added is only a little. At present, there is no conclusive research that confirms that peppermint flavoring causes serious effects on acid reflux patients.
13. Are Nattome's products completely without added sugar?
Stomach Food: Yes, your stomach food contains no added sugar.
The sweet taste of SF may come from "Maltodextrin", or it may come from food processing.
R&R: Added sugar substitutes (Xylitol, Isomalt, Sucralose).
14. Are all R&R ingredients natural? xyliyol, isomalt, inulin?
InulinĀ is a soluble fibre that helps relieve constipation. It's also a prebiotic that provides food for the beneficial bacteria in the large intestine. Common in some plants or some grains, beans, and root foods, such as Onions, leeks, garlic, wheat, oats, soybeans, and so on. It is therefore a natural ingredient.
Isomalt (isomaltol).Ā It is artificially made from sucrose (extracted from sugar cane or beets) and is widely used as a food sweetener. isomalt cannot be labeled as "natural" because it does not occur naturally. But it is one of the sugar substitutes certified as safe by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Its fermentable properties have led it to be proposed as a prebiotic, beneficial for the health of the large intestine mucosa. It has low digestibility, and early studies in diabetic patients have shown that it has a low glycemic index.
Xylitol (xylitol)Ā is also an artificial sweetener, although they occurs naturally in nature (extracted from silver birch or corn fiber). It was also certified by the US FDA as safe for humans in 1986. It also has a low glycemic index and is used as a sugar substitute option for diabetics.
(isomalt and xylitol are a type of glycitol.)
15. Do probiotics cause diarrhea?
There is no specific daily recommendation or limit for probiotic supplements, however, it is possible to overconsume, including probiotics. Probiotics are essential for maintaining a healthy digestive and immune system. They are also important for regulating bowel movements and maintaining a balance of gastrointestinal flora.
However, taking probiotics can have side effects, including temporary diarrhea, especially if you are taking high doses or new probiotic strains. This is considered normal and occurs because of transitional symptoms caused by adjustments in your gut flora.
Diarrhea caused by probiotics is usually mild and generally lasts no longer than a few days to a few weeks. Once your gut adjusts to the new balance with the introduction of probiotics, the symptoms will disappear.
Issues related to pregnant women and children
1. Can pregnant women take it?
Stomach Nutrition Meal and R&R stomach relief powder are functional foods using natural plant ingredients, no medicinal ingredients. Because the product does not contain any contraband, chemicals, or hormones, it is not harmful to children or pregnant women, but it is recommended that pregnant women consult an obstetrician and gynecologist before taking it for safety reasons.
2. Can pregnant women drink coffee during pregnancy?
Pregnant women need to be cautious in drinking coffee. Coffee contains caffeine, a stimulant that can affect the fetus by crossing the placenta. Since the metabolic system of the fetus is not fully developed, caffeine is metabolized slowly in the fetus, so excessive consumption of caffeine by pregnant women may cause negative effects on the fetus.
Pregnant women are advised to control their caffeine intake and should limit their caffeine intake to less than 200mg per day.
For pregnant women, if they have the habit of drinking coffee, it is best to gradually reduce the intake of coffee and try to avoid excessive consumption of coffee and other caffeinated beverages. If pregnant women wish to drink coffee, they can try decaffeinated coffee.
3. Can children drink new sf if they have gastroenteritis?
No specific age group is recommended. You can send the product information to the customer, and let the customer ask the baby's specialist, which is the safest.
4. If a child wants to take it to supplement nutrition, will it be recommended?
If the child has no obvious gastrointestinal problems or symptoms of indigestion, and the normal diet already provides sufficient nutrients, it is generally not necessary to take additional gastrointestinal supplement products. A normal, balanced diet usually meets the nutritional needs of a child.
However, if the child's intake of nutrients is insufficient for special reasons, such as loss of appetite, anorexia, special dietary needs, etc., then the doctor or professional dietitian may recommend appropriate gastrointestinal health products or nutritional supplements.
Other conditions/diseases
1. I am taking a drug xxx, what time should I drink Nattome?
To avoid food and drug interactions, it is generally recommended to wait at least one hour after taking the drug, or two hours before taking the drug. If you are not sure, ask your doctor/pharmacist for more details.
2. What are the recommendations for people with serious stomach problems (on medication/did surgery before, etc.)?
Specific recommendations should be based on the gastrointestinal problem (i.e. what the doctor diagnosed, and which part of the stomach underwent surgery).
The general advice is:
- Use medication as directed to control the condition and relieve symptoms.
- Adjust your diet to meet the specific needs of your stomach, as recommended by your doctor or dietician.
- Eat regular meals and small meals.
- Manage stress and emotions.
- Regular review and follow-up doctor, timely understanding of changes in the condition, and adjustment of treatment plan.
3. Can I take Nattome after kidney transplant surgery? Does it affect kidney function?
In theory, it will not affect kidney function, as most of the ingredients are natural foods. Remind customers that long-term care after a kidney transplant is about maintaining a healthy weight and managing non-communicable diseases (if any).
4. Can a stroke patient drink nattome? (situation: can't eat solid food orally, can only drink ONS/milk) for those who in this situation can drink nattome instead of milk?
Patients don't need to drink Nattome specifically if they don't have stomach problems. Even if there were, Nattome would not be enough to replace ONS/milk. Patients who have had a stroke and can only take liquid-type food need more ONS/milk with complete & balanced nutrition, such as Ensure.
5. If I drink Nattome, do I need to avoid taking any food?
Yes. It is recommended to avoid foods that normally stimulate the onset of symptoms. The effect of Nattome is mainly focused on soothing symptoms and does not change the constitution (e.g.: the food that is more sensitive for your GI, foods that the body cannot tolerate, etc.).
6. Should patients with Irritable bowel syndrome take the new or old version of SF?
NEW SF uses "oat powder" instead of "soybean powder" as the base flavour. This is more suitable for people with IBS because their intestines are more sensitive to the "fermented carbohydrateā in soybeans, which is more likely to cause bloating. But for "soy protein," it doesn't matter.ā But for those with "soy allergies", Nattome products are not recommended.
7. Does taking Nattome products affect the urea breath test?
The Urea breath test is a test to examine for the presence of spirochetes in the body. Nattome products do not contain antibiotics and are not bactericidal.
Issues related to some adverse reactions after drinking Nattome
1. Why does my stomach temporarily feel bloated after drinking Nattome?
Some customers may feel temporarily higher after drinking, but the specific reasons vary from person to person. It could be because:
- Gas effect: Nattome diet contains ingredients, such as soy and other dietary fiber, which absorb water in the stomach and expand, causing a feeling of stress.
- Individual differences: Everyone reacts differently to different foods and drinks, and some people may be more prone to bloating or discomfort while others are not.
Suggestion:
- Pay attention to the water amount: it is recommended to add 150-200 ml of water into SF, for those who may feel full/flatulence easily can use less water around 150ml.
- Pay attention to the overall intake: With food, please intervals of about 30 minutes. The meal + liquid intake should not be too much at one time, resulting in fullness and stomach discomfort. If you have a glass of warm water in the morning, put your Stomach Food at short intervals to avoid consuming large amounts of fluids, the same goes while taking main meals. If you're already full after taking the meals, wait 1-2 hours or two then just consume SF.
2. Is it a normal reaction if I feel stomach discomfort and vomit after I drink the SF in the morning (empty stomach)?
Ask them whether is Soy/Oat/Gold SF. If a customer can't tolerate drinking before a meal/empty stomach, ask them to try to drink after a meal (after 1 - 2 hours).
3. Is diarrhea a normal reaction after drinking SF?
If the customer does not consume enough fiber in their usual diet (recommendation: 20-30g dietary fiber/day), or has not tried to take probiotic supplements before, he/she may experience some bowel changes, such as diarrhea. Usually, this may last for about 1-2 weeks before the symptoms gradually subside. They can try to take half a sachet first, and then gradually increase the amount, while continuing to monitor their bowel movements.
It is also necessary to ask customers to pay attention to any diarrhea caused by eating outside in unsanitary conditions/leaving meals too long/overnight dishes not properly stored, and food poisoning.
4. Is feeling stomach discomfort/wanting to defecate throughout the day a normal reaction?
Similar to the above.
Nattome is rich in fiber (2.3g per pack of OLD SF; NEW SF contains 1.7g). Therefore, the reason for feeling the need to go to the toilet to defecate throughout the day after drinking may be due to increased intestinal motility and bowel frequency caused by high fiber intake.
Fiber absorbs water and expands in the intestines, increasing the volume of stool and stimulating intestinal motility. This can lead to an increased frequency of bowel movements and a feeling of wanting to go to the bathroom throughout the day. Each person's gut may react differently to fiber. Some people are more sensitive to fiber intake and tend to feel like they need to go to the bathroom throughout the day.
It is recommended to gradually increase fiber intake to allow the gut to adapt and reduce discomfort.
5. Is it a normal reaction to drink SF in the morning and feel like you want to defecate but have no discharge/less discharge?
Similar to the above. The desire to defecate may come from the fibers absorbing water to expand and stimulate intestinal movement.
At the same time, fiber and water are good friends š§āš¤āš§. Fiber needs enough water to absorb and expand to help promote intestinal motility and defecation. Properly increasing water intake helps fiber pass through the intestines and promotes a smoother excretion of stool. If you have a high fiber intake but not enough water, the fiber may not be able to do its full work, and it will aggravate the problem of constipation.
However, if you want to defecate for a long time but can not discharge or discharge very little, it is recommended to consult a doctor for evaluation. According to your specific condition and symptoms, perform the necessary tests and diagnosis (such as whether there is intestinal obstruction/intestinal inflammation/drug side effects, etc.) to determine the root cause and develop the appropriate treatment plan (generally can include: adjusting diet, increasing fiber intake, increasing water intake, increasing exercise, using laxatives, etc.).
6. When I drank SF at breakfast in the morning, I had stomach fullness and acid reflux. Did I need to skip breakfast after drinking SF?
Nattome SF only contains 60(NEW) to 80kcal (OLD) per pack, so it is not enough to replace a full meal. You also need to eat breakfast to ensure that you are getting enough calories and nutrients. However, you can pay attention to the timing of eating such as drinking on an empty stomach The stomach is not so full to eat breakfast slowly if you are a little full, you can adjust the food portion, such as the original two pieces of bread to a piece of bread is mainly not to eat too fast/too full
For best results, it is best to blend and drink immediately, so eating and drinking at the same time is not recommended
7. I keep farting after taking my stomach food. What's the reason?
Similar to the above.
The upgraded SF is high-fibre and contains probiotics. First, the fiber itself can promote intestinal peristalsis, help defecate, and exhaust. Moreover, since fiber cannot be digested and absorbed by the human body, it will come to the large intestine, which is metabolized by the probiotic fermentation in the gut, producing gas. Note, however, that these gases are only one of the products/metabolites of this fermentation process. What's more, fiber serves as food for these probiotics, which, in addition to producing gas by fermenting these fibers, also produce short-chain fatty acids, which have many health benefits, including promoting gastrointestinal health, anti-inflammation, regulating the immune system, and more.
So in general, drinking SF increases farting hiccups is normal.
